Farmer Instructions

Interested in having apprentices on your farm?

*Currently there are no farm openings within the ASAAP program, but we expect to grow in the near future. If you are interested in applying please read through the program information and contact us about being put on a waiting list.

Participating with ASAAP can be a very unique and rewarding experience. Why not take the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with eager apprentices who are willing to exchange labor for learning? Apprentices come from many different backgrounds and farmers who have participated with ASAAP highlight that they offer the opportunity for cross-cultural and multi-directional learning. Farmers get the extra hands they need for the season as well as the satisfaction of knowing that the sustainable practices that they have developed over time will be passed on and applied beyond their operation. Being involved with ASAAP also opens doors to networking opportunities among other sustainable farmers in the region. There’s nothing to lose!
